Included: The Zell am See - Kaprun Summercard!

 

All our guests receive the new "Zell am See - Kaprun summer card" for free upon arrival. The card is valid from May 15th to October 15th and enables our guests to use a lot of attractions in the area of Zell am See - Kaprun for free. It includes the unlimited and free use of all operating cable cars and chairlifts on the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See and the Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun. Also the lidos at the lake, the high alpine dams in Kaprun, the national park museum in Mittersill and the waterfalls in Krimml are included.

Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun

Unlimited use of all operating calbe cars up to the middle station "Alpincenter" on 2.450 m. Only in July and August one ascent and descent up to the top within 6 days is free. During the rest of the season unlimited use is free. The use of the ski lifts on the glacier is not included. All lifts operate year round.

Cable cars to the Kitzsteinhorn can be reached by public transport for € 1,00.

Unlimited ascent and descent to the High Alpine Reservoirs in Kaprun. Experience the harmonious interaction of nature and technology at the dams "Mooserboden" and "Wasserfallboden". It is also the starting point of magnificent walks up into the high alpine area.

Wildlife Park Ferleiten

Wildlifepark Ferleiten

Unlimited entrance to the 15.000 m2 wildlife park. The park is located in a romantic high mountain valley and grants visitors a breathtaking panorama view of probably one of the most beautiful heads of a valley in Austria. On convenient paths, you can stroll through the wildlife park and meet the animal inhabitants of the region.

The park is situated at the start of the Großglockner High Alpine road and the start of the Käfertal - which is a beautiful, unaffected mountain valley which offers nice walks and hikes.

Unlimited entrance to the Nationalpark museum in Mittersill. The exhibition NationalparkWorlds in Mittersill presents you the fabulous world of the Hohe Tauern mountain range. On your tour you will wander through eight rooms which display fascinating scientific highlights including the evolution of the Alps, the flight of the majestic eagle as well as amazing details of the glacier world. Besides a traditional exhibition on animals, plants and rocks there are special presentations such as a walk-in marmot, a 3D Tauern cinema and a video flight over the national park.

Unlimited entrace to the Sigmund Thun Gorge in Kapurn. The river dug itself 32 metres deep into the ground and left behind strikingly smooth surfaces and natural whirlpools. A 320 m long path moves visitors along narrow rock faces across wooden catwalks and numerous other bridges.

developed catwalks.

Holders of the Zell am See - Kaprun Card can take the 36 bends distributed on 48 kilometres up to an altitude of 2,504 metres above sea level at a preferential price. What is it that you can expect to find up there? An absolutely unique atmosphere and a natural idyll of blooming Alpine pastures, majestic rocks, and perpetual ice.
